The Role:

We are seeking a talented and creative Motion Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through motion graphics and animation. You will be responsible for creating engaging and visually stunning motion designs for a variety of digital products, including websites and branding materials.

Key Competencies:

Technical Skills:

• Utilise softwares such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, Cinema 4D, Blender, LottieFiles, Spline, Rive to create motion designs.
• Optimise animations for various platforms and devices to ensure smooth performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in motion design and animation.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and other team members to integrate motion design seamlessly into digital products.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and incorporate feedback.

Project Management:

• Maintain organised project files and documentation for efficient workflow and collaboration.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Responsibilities:

Motion Design and Animation :

• Develop storyboards, concept art, and style frames to visualise ideas.
• Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for websites, films, social posts and branding projects.
• Design and animate transitions, user interactions, and other dynamic elements to enhance the user experience.
• Create interactive onboarding sequences, animated buttons, and in-app animations.
• Create hero animations, interactive infographics, and animated icons for websites
• Create character movements, environmental animations, and UI transitions.
• Ensure all motion designs align with brand guidelines and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in motion design and animation, preferably in a digital production studio

• Proficiency in motion design software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, Cinema

  4D, Blender, LottieFiles, Spline, Rive

• Strong understanding of animation principles, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.

• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, color, typography and composition.

• Ability to create engaging animations that enhance user experiences and brand narratives.

• Understanding of editing and post-productionA strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print design work.
